So cool. My dad recently took a motorcycle trip through Colorado with some of his “biker buddies” who all ride Harleys. These guys are the real deal and my dad’s good buddy Jim Krantz has toured with them on a few of their recent trips. And just so you know, in the photo world “Jim Krantz” is synonymous with greatness and is truly as good as it gets. He is an EXTREMELY accomplished commercial photographer, having photographed major ad campaigns for companies such as United Airlines, AT&T, McDonalds, Nokia, Wells Fargo, US Army, UPS, FedEx, Boeing, US Marines…you get the picture; campaigns that have literally defined industries and shaped the direction and course of their markets. I’m honestly trying not to be hyperbolic, but what can I say–I’m a fan.
When my dad sent me THIS LINK to Jim’s website, where he’s created a new gallery of the recent trip, I couldn’t help but remember some of the times I also had with Jim and his son Danny when I was growing up in Omaha, NE. For one, Jim actually taught ME how to ride a motorcycle. An old trials bike that both excited me and at the same time scared the living ba-jeezuz out of me. 🙂 So seeing some of Jim’s work again, and this including my dad, I couldn’t resist sharing.
Take a minute to check out some of Jim’s incredible work by visiting his website HERE. The image below is the first image in his new gallery from their recent trek across Colorado. Enjoy!
