What an incredible time we’ve had with Ricky and Melissa on their wedding photo/planning journey. First we flew up to NYC for an outstanding Engagement Photo shoot, where we got some awesome shots of Melissa, Ricky and even a few of them with the Kardashians. 😉 (CLICK HERE for those beautiful pics.) And now that the wedding images are done and delivered, we get the great news that they’re being featured on Style Me Pretty’s rockin’ wedding blog, which is always a feather in a photographer’s cap. 🙂 To sum it up, we love these guys and will be going out for Mexican food next time we’re in NYC for another shoot. 🙂 Check out their beautiful pics, most of which are also on the Style Me Pretty blog today.
Okay so get some napkins ready cause you might catch yourself drooling over Melissa’s dress, or possibly wiping a tear from the corner of your eye–either way it’s a safe call. 😉

The Vinoy Hotel, a wonderful place for a gorgeous wedding….
Melissa’s ridiculously awesome dress. Couldn’t get enough of that detail! (No seriously, I shot about 20 different angles of it…) 🙂
I wasn’t lying…
Jiggy-jiggy-Jimmy Choos.
Beautiful rings. Beautiful.
And the earrings. Loved them. Kelly, our INCREDIBLE associate shooter, rocked the details on their wedding. You rock, Kel.
Melissa’s late grandmother’s broach was fastened to her bouquet. So beautiful and special.
Florals were insane. See the rest later in this post. In. Sane.
Touching sentiments in their program.
BEAUTIFUL bridesmaids. Melissa, you have gorgeous friends. 🙂
So beautiful!
Now for a few of the guys. Starting with the Burberry cufflinks….
A round of drinks to get things going…
Ricky added a little personal touch to his wardrobe with these awesome socks. 🙂 Had to snap a pic of that!
SO 007.
On the terrace of the Vinoy out front. These guys were dressed to the T’s.
As Melissa approached for her First Look, the emotions started coming out from everyone…
Love this one. 🙂 SO special.
Happy tears.
Somewhat avant-garde but still one of my favorite images of the day.
We dipped into an empty meeting room for a bit of a respite from the heat and found this window. Love this shot and the class that it exudes. You guys are fierce! 🙂
Insane, Barb. Insane. (Artistry Designs Group)
Barb transformed the Vinoy Gardens into a wedding masterpiece. I mean, a chuppah with a lit chandelier?? Yeah, that rocks.
Majestic
The flower girl nearly stole the show. 🙂 SO cute!
Down the isle!
Capturing moments of people capturing moments.
The ceremony setup from the back-side.
Beautiful! The floral theme Melissa chose even tied her veil and her chuppah together!
Ricky took no prisoners on the glass stomp. Must have had something to do with the skull/crossbones on his socks. 🙂
Love this shot!
The gorgeous reception setups in the Grande Ballroom, before guests were ushered in.
Event Design, LLC provided the BEAUTIFUL chivari chairs and chargers. They really added to the perfect elegant look!
Flroals florals florals!
Another of my favorite shots of the day. Their gorgeous sweetheart table with a direct view of the Chihuly chandelier and the dance floor. LOVED IT!
More Sweethearts Table.
LOVED what Barb and her team at Artistry Designs Group did with the table settings and the centerpieces. WOW!!! Go Barb!
Another of the custom centerpieces. Again, wow. See more of Barb’s work HERE.
The amazing cake artists at The Renaissance Vinoy Hotel pulled out all the stops for this beautiful 5-tier cake masterpiece.
First dance.
Love this one. 🙂
And this…!
I did NOT see it coming, but Ricky is a total party animal!! 🙂 Here he was just getting started. Very nice, buddy.
The crowd went nuts at the final dip.
Hora underneath the Chihuly masterpiece. Love it.
Melissa and Ricky are self-proclaimed “foodies” and wanted us to lend our food-photography skills to documenting the various dishes that they had selected for their guests at the reception. The Vinoy food and beverage staff were incredible and even helped me with some of the food styling. We brought some extra lighting equipment just to be sure the food photos were perfect. 🙂 Future-K&K Brides…let us know if you’re a “foodie” too! We love shooting (and eating) food. 🙂
Chocolate Pi created French Macaroons for Ricky and Melissa not only because they love them but also because Ricky proposed to Melissa atop the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Kim from Chocolate Pi really hit these out of the park!
Toasts…
The bottom layer was red velvet. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….
Party time!
Special guests Melissa and Ricky made an appearance. 🙂
This was just awesome. 🙂
It was a beautiful evening outside the hotel as well. What an amazing night! Thanks for letting us provide your wedding and bridal photography!
